Professor Anders Ynnerman received a Ph.D. in physics from Chalmers University of Technology. During the early 90s he was doing research on large-scale simulations of many body interactions in atomic systems at Oxford University, UK, and Vanderbilt University, USA. Since 1995 he has been involved in the build-up of national resources for high performance computing in Sweden. His current research-interest lie in the area of analysis of large scale date sets using visualization and he professor of scientific visualization at Linköping University. He is currently directing the National Supercomputer Centre (NSC) and the Norrköping Visualization and Interaction Studio. |
